ANN CHUANG
This month with the theme of celebration, I wanted to celebrate
"Birthday". I think the birthday is a very important day because I
can't meet my friends without the birthday.

We have a very important date this month in the UK, as we
have the coronation of a new King - that doesn't happen very
often - so it's a pretty big deal. I like Prince Charles
(King Charles) so I wanted to make my page about him, so it
has a distinctly British feel. It's also a great month
to celebrate that we have three public holidays which includes
the extra one so we can all watch the coronation!

HEATHER MCMAHON
I wanted to celebrate the crazy, outrageous things in life.
This little boy from ArtStacks fitted my theme perfectly as
he seems so vibrant and expressive.
I hope you'll join in the fun this month!

There are so many things to celebrate. Almost every day has
a holiday attached to it. Some are funny. Some are serious.
I decided to search what holidays were coming up in May and
was completely inspired by the International Day of Light on
May 16th. This holiday was created by UNESCO to provide a
focal point for activities and events to demonstrate how
science, technology, art and culture can help achieve its
goals – education, equality, and peace. It commemorates the
first successful operation of the laser by scientist and
engineer Theodore Maiman in 1960.
Through further research I came across a global and
grassroots movement called Liter of Light that provides
affordable, sustainable solar light to people with limited
or no access to electricity.
What an amazing theme this turned out to be! I hope that my
project helps to bring more awareness to this and inspires
more people to take action.

For this theme of celebration, I wanted to celebrate the
freedom that every living being should have to live his or
her life without having to look at the past

For me it is important to celebrate everything, not only
important occasions. Every single day brings something
what is worth to be celebrated. And it is important to
share the joy with others
I used some distress paints and embossing powder to
create this page. There is a little bit of stamping as
well.
SHARON FRITCHMAN
In our family, we love to celebrate the things that make each of us
happy. Our daughter, Anne, loves panda bears . . . we have always
called her joy for pandas - "Pandamania!" I used ArtStacks’ new
releases to make my page.

This month with the theme of celebration, I decided to
celebrate womanhood. I began with Mother’s Day in mind, and
then expanded it to womanhood, the celebration of life and
freedom. The essence of existence and the multifaceted
strength of a woman, and how her being. I used a lot of
goodies from Art Stacks for this page.
