It's time for another post full of inspiration where we showcase
the creative genius of a SPECIAL GUEST who has made her/his mark
in the scrapbooking world straight through to our hearts!
In the spotlight this month is none other than:
"Hi! My name is Gabrielle Pollacco. I've always enjoyed working with a variety of art mediums and in recent years have enjoyed incorporating them in my scrapbook pages and mixed media projects. I've been on many of the industry design teams including Bo Bunny, Dusty Attic, Shimmerz Paints, Maja Design and The Scrapbook Diaries, among others. I've recently designed stamp sets for The Scrapbook Diaries as well as stencils for The Crafter's Workshop. I also enjoy sharing techniques and step by steps in the form of video tutorials. I'm delighted to be the Special Guest this month for More Than Words. It was so much fun designing a page using the gorgeous February challenge board!"

Here is what Gabrielle has to say about her layout:
"I saw the SPARKLE creative challenge and ran with it big time! I used on my page everything from Perfect Pearls liquid medium, sequins, glitter glass to shimmery micro beads and gold embossing powders. When looking at close-ups, you can't help but see the "glitteryness" of it all! It sparkles and shines all the way through! I chose a photo of a mermaid, playing on the word 'wonder' in WONDERFUL which is what mermaids are to me... full of wonder!"
Gabrielle has provided us with some close-ups of her stunning page:
The microbeads, glitter glass and sequins, in beautiful aqua blues
and soft golds, shine off the page, giving the effect of crystal waters!
The word WONDERFUL is emphasized by a intricate metal frame
and the gorgeous chipboard piece, seen below, gives off some more metallic sheen.

DeleteI love the Mermaid Gabi, it is mesmerizing to me. And what a wonderful addition to the piece. I have always thought that there must be a thread of truth to their existence. And after being in Kauai for 2 weeks and seeing the beauty and splendor I can see why people want to place them in such a paradise setting. You did a great job with this.
